The Project goal was to design and 3d print a holder for my phone. One of the project goals was to be able to be mounted to just about anything well GoPro mounts are easily 3d printed but also have tons of options/ easy to modify or design. A second goal was to limit the amount of hardware required so the final project is a single nut and bolt. A third project goal was to be able to use my phone uninterrupted by bracing and the back brace does that well. A fourth design goal was to have a secure phone mount while not having to remove my phone case and be easily removeable. With these in mind, I designed certain parts of the project the way I did.
This project I designed around my Samsung phone but any phone that is less then 81mm wide by 11mm thick should fit if not you would just need to adjust the dimensions. To replicate the project, you would need one of the following: Phone holder, GoPro Clip, Thumb Turner, any GoPro Base, M4 nut and bolt. And assembly should look like the photo above.
